This bulletin includes data since January 2022 till date, including comparison of the same period last two year. In May 2019, 36 new sentinel sites (including public hospitals, private hospitals, and medical colleges) were added and was gradually oriented and started reporting. Recently, in November 2024, 17 reporting sites selected from all the provices of Nepal were upgraded to sentinel sites, thus the number of sentinel sites are increasing. The current number of sentinel sites is 134.

Summary Observation Most of the AGE cases were reported from KATHMANDU (34 cases), PARSA (27 cases), KAILALI (18 cases), RUKUM WEST (15 cases) and MAHOTTARI (14 cases). Most of the SARI cases were reported from KATHMANDU (107 cases), RUPANDEHI (55 cases), MORANG (47 cases), SUNSARI (46 cases) and BAITADI (34 cases). Most of the Cholera cases were reported from BHOJPUR (4 cases), BAGLUNG (2 cases), ACHHAM (1 case) and KHOTANG (1 case). Malaria case(s) were reported from NAWALPARASI EAST (1 case) and KASKI (1 case). Most of the Dengue cases were reported from KATHMANDU (11 cases), KASKI (6 cases), PALPA (4 cases), LALITPUR (3 cases) and SUNSARI (3 cases). Most of the Kala azar cases were reported from DOTI (1 case), MAKWANPUR (1 case) and PANCHTHAR (1 case). Most of the Scrub Typhus cases were reported from LAMJUNG (9 cases), DANG (9 cases), CHITAWAN (9 cases), SURKHET (7 cases) and SINDHULI (7 cases). Most of the Enteric Fever cases were reported from PARSA (5 cases), MAHOTTARI (5 cases), PALPA (4 cases), RAUTAHAT (3 cases) and JHAPA (3 cases). Most of the Influenza Like Illness cases were reported from SOLUKHUMBU (154 cases), KAILALI (146 cases), SINDHUPALCHOK (89 cases), BHAKTAPUR (84 cases) and BAITADI (70 cases). |
