This bulletin includes data since January 2022 till date, including comparison of the same period last two year. In May 2019, 36 new sentinel sites (including public hospitals, private hospitals, and medical colleges) were added and was gradually oriented and started reporting. Recently, in November 2024, 17 reporting sites selected from all the provices of Nepal were upgraded to sentinel sites, thus the number of sentinel sites are increasing. The current number of sentinel sites is 134.

Summary Observation (including probable and suspect cases) Most of the AGE cases were reported from PARSA (50 cases), KATHMANDU (41 cases), KAILALI (29 cases), RUPANDEHI (23 cases) and DHADING (20 cases). Most of the SARI cases were reported from KATHMANDU (30 cases), SUNSARI (29 cases), MORANG (25 cases), RUPANDEHI (17 cases) and UDAYAPUR (16 cases). Cholera case(s) were reported from BHAKTAPUR (10 cases) and PARBAT (1 case). Most of the Dengue cases were reported from JHAPA (5 cases), KATHMANDU (4 cases), PALPA (3 cases), CHITAWAN (3 cases) and RAMECHHAP (3 cases). Most of the Kala azar cases were reported from SURKHET (2 cases), KANCHANPUR (1 case), DOLPA (1 case), BARDIYA (1 case) and SINDHULI (1 case). Most of the Scrub Typhus cases were reported from DADELDHURA (12 cases), DOTI (7 cases), KAILALI (6 cases), NAWALPARASI WEST (6 cases) and CHITAWAN (5 cases). Most of the Enteric Fever cases were reported from SARLAHI (9 cases), BARA (7 cases), MAHOTTARI (7 cases), PARSA (5 cases) and KATHMANDU (4 cases). Most of the Influenza Like Illness cases were reported from KAILALI (94 cases), BHAKTAPUR (35 cases), KANCHANPUR (29 cases), PARBAT (23 cases) and SINDHUPALCHOK (23 cases). |
